How she got into performance:
When I bought my own truck when I was 18, I didnt want my ride to be like anyone elses. I started off with small mods and worked my way up. I eventually started going to local shows. My mother and little sister also started customizing their rides and we all went to shows together. After losing that truck in an accident in 2004, I took a few years off from shows. In 2006, I gave it another try, and now I'm back showing and loving it. Its what I do and my main hobby, I wouldnt trade it for anything else.

Three things people should know about me:
My truck is actually an expression of me and who I am. In a way its a direct expression of my personality and my style. I think that a ride mirrors the owner and who that person really is.
My husband and I show cars together each with our own rides, still alongside of my mother. My husband has a 1996 Pontiac Firebird Formula and my mother a 2000 Ford Mustang. Its more or less a family thing, which is pretty special to me.
Around Ohio, its pretty rare to see other girls showing their own cars. Usually you get a typical response of "is that really your car?" One time, I even got the "How much did your boyfriend pay you to clean his car?" Nothing is more fun than telling people its your own, yes, I'm a female and this is what I do.
Best part of being a girl racer:
Its awesome to be part of a group of fellow females that take pride in their rides and feel the same.
